COMPANY BACKGROUND

A leading supplier of military, veteran, and patriotic logo and emblematic products world-wide, Mitchell Proffitt Company was founded by Chuck Mitchell and his partner Al Proffitt in1985 in Pinehurst NC. Steve and Pat Nettles acquired the company and relocated it to Jacksonville, FL in 1995.

Today, the company stocks thousands of items and continues the process of perpetually developing new products. We maintain a reputation for shipping orders promptly and complete. Our customers include stores within all of the military exchange systems in addition to hundreds of retail locations including gift shops, web based retailers, army navy stores, concessionaires, reunion, event fundraisers, and others. Mitchell Proffitt is EDI Compliant.

Steve & Pat Nettles: Principal stockholders

Jim Terry, Global Sales Director

Jim is our primary liaison with AAFES, VCS and the Coast Guard buyers. Jim manages a team of independent representatives world-wide and is instrumental in the development of new products and programs.

Mimi Whang, Vice President Marketing and Product Development

Mimi is the talent that keeps Mitchell-Proffitt ahead of the market curve and propels the company into the future.  She controls all aspects of product development from conception to production, pricing, and placement in the market.  She also directs marketing programs, advertising, catalog production, trade show coordination and all aspects of an aggressive marketing department including direct support for the sales force.

Sandy Pearson, Office Manager

Sandy oversees all aspects of administration including customer support, credit management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.

Craig Love, Vice President of Operations

Craig is responsible for planning and executing all aspects of daily operations including order processing, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, warehouse management, inventory control, embroidery operations, traffic routing, and facilities management.  Craig also manages certain aspects of human resources including the Florida Drug Free Workplace program.

Leslie Jo Jackson, Manager of standards and compliance

In this complex world of changing technology, Leslie leads us into the future.  Leslie manages outsourced IT activities.  Her duties include selecting and directing technology upgrade implementations and procedural changes and making certain that all departments have the tools, training, and understanding essential to a safe and productive workplace.  Leslie also monitors compliance with contracts and regulations.
